Therefore, the wholesale company in Carpinteria intends to proceed with its sixth annual Inspiration Design Days program next month.<\/p>\n<p>The discounted room rate expires on Monday, so interested attendees should act quickly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.florabundance.com\/blog\/florabundance-inspirational-design-days-2018\">Florabundance Design Days\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>runs Monday, January 15 through Wednesday, January 17, with an opening reception and wine tasting on Sunday night. Registration covers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>five design sessions with some of the most influential florists in the world (including all necessary materials)<\/li>\n<li>professional photos of your curated designs<\/li>\n<li>daily lunch and a closing dinner<\/li>\n<li>breakfast at Florabundance, followed by a tour of the facility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The featured designers include <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bowsandarrowsflowers.com\">Adam and Alicia Rico<\/a><\/strong> from Dallas, Texas;<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tulipina.com\"><strong>Kiana Underwood <\/strong><\/a>from\u00a0Burlingame, California;\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.design358.com\">Hitomi Gilliam, AIFD, EMD<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nfrom<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Vancouver, British Columbia;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.myrtieblue.com\"><strong>Brian Watson <\/strong><\/a>from\u00a0Fort Walton Beach, Florida; and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/hollychappleflowers.com\">Holly Chapple\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>from Lucketts, Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Aside from Hitomi, they&#8217;re not AIFD designers, but they have a style that customers love and they all have huge followings,&#8221; said Florabundance CEO Joost Bongaerts. &#8220;Collectively, they have about 8,000 Instagram followers, so there will be a lot of eyes on our event.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Design days offers attendees a crash course in the latest trends, introduction to new techniques and varieties of flowers to elevate their work, as well as networking opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a florist&#8217;s equivalent of being a kid in a candy shop,&#8221; Bongaerts said.<\/p>\n<p>The Society of American Florists will have exclusive coverage of 2018 Design Days, so stay tuned for upcoming issues of\u00a0<em>Floral Management\u00a0<\/em>and Wednesday E-Brief for behind-the-scenes photos.<\/p>\n<p>To register, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.florabundance.com\/www.florabundance.com\/florabundance-inspirational-design-days-2018-p-19275.html\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Currently, the Thomas fire raging through Southern California has not reached Florabundance.
