  • Sorry Teresa that I didn't get back to you.But now MD is done for another year I can get back to normal, what ever that is. I have one of the original templates that Tim did. He is really good at listening to your needs and his team are really helpful. They do supply photos if you need. I use teleflorist photo's as thats the relay I'm in for gifts and funeral tributes. I do use my own wedding photo's bar 3 pic's which are design's that I do regularly but my photo's aren't any good. It website is so easy to change. I did some stuff today and have a few spelling mistakes to correct tonight. Pictures are quick to change. I have thought about updating the template of the website to one of the new versions. But it's probably a case of 'if it's not broke don't fix it'. So I am going to just hold off for a bit. Have you been on the florist pro website. Go down all the different florists they've done. I really love some of them. MD was pretty decent thank god. I hope yours was too. Joanne x
Hey Teresa, Good luck with Mother's Day! Enjoy and much $ to you and your shop! Get some sleep!! Nice chatting with ya!~A
I really struggle to get the business. I think The family flowers are being ordered through the funeral directors. I get the orders for friends and aquaintances. It infuriates me when they say they just die and are a waste, and are then waiting for me to agree. A recent customer ordered a silk coffin spray and then took it home and put it on their dining table after the funeral! I can just imagine them hiring it out and reusing it for the next funeral!! They made a point in coming in to say what a good idea it was of theirs! Wish I felt the same.Often I get customers coming in to the shop on the day of the funeral for a single red rose. Obviously they cannot get these at the local Tesco where they would have to buy a full bunch!!
That's my rant finished for today!
    Regards Tina
Greetings from the Torpey Clan from the U.S.A.. Our family hails from Cork and Clare back in the early 1900s. I know Frank Torpey, the famous drummer, was born in Cork. Do you know of any others who bear our name in your area?
    Hi Teresa,
Thank you so much for the compliment and taking the time to post your message! It is always encouraging to hear feedback, especially nice stuff!
I noticed you are a florist in Cork? Do you have a website?
Been to Cork, few years ago now, had lots of fun there and had the best Irish Stew ever-can't remember the place but all of us voted it the best of our tour there. Greetings from New Zealand. Franca :)
