I'm really new at all of this and if this already a worn out topic I apologize. I'm not quite sure how to use this site just yet.
I want to start advertising with Google, I think, to increase traffic to my website but I don't even know where to begin. I get phone calls and "junk" mail all the time for people saying they can put my shop at the top of Google but their prices are ENORMOUS. I'd have to do triple my business just to afford the ad. I know I'm going to have to put in some money but I want to be sure I'm putting it in the right place. What is pay per click versus just a monthly fee? Is it even worth it?
I'd appreciate any advice.
