Ok So I decided since we need an extra income(with the awful tenants, etc) to compensate for the setbacks I decided to "sell" my car(new Honda Civic Hybrid) as advertising space. I figured if I can at least pull in something then that will leave me some peace of mind to practice floral design.
I was thinking of turning our garage...which is a one car garage and we don't even use it for the car...into a sort of floral studio for me! Since I live in military housing we are allowed to have an in home business...but I don't think I would sell anything as of yet. I like that the option is there.
Anyhow, I've submitted an ad on craigslist for the ad space on my hybrid. I hope it generates something!
I also had a question...if i'd like to get my hands on some flowers/greens without having to pay full retail price for practicing with, where would I go?? Is anyone here familiar with the San Diego Flower mart?? I've been to the LA Flower Mart several times. Does it work like that?
