Local florist Carolina Floral Design continued its tradition of giving back to our community by joining in the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at the Beaufort National Cemetery on Monday.
This time around, owner Sylvia Bushey and her friends handed out over 2000 roses to those in attendance who traveled from near and far away to honor loved ones on the holiday
“Each year, we provide complimentary roses for the Memorial Day Ceremony so family members can place them on graves of fallen soldiers,” Sylvia said. “Being from a military background, this is very close to my heart.”
And being a military town, were glad they step up to do this as well.
