Please bring back the "Search" button

Hi, I really miss being able to use the search feature, I get an error message on 2 diff computers. I am always remembering older posts I read about something here and wanting to find them easily.
Here's the error message:
connection to localhost:9312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused)
