Anyone have any suggestion for designing roses and ivy to hang on pergola legs, for a wedding ceremony? The bride & groom want to move the arrangements inside for the reception afterwards.

Any particular holder you would recommend?

Generally speaking, ivy and roses hanging would be a garland, not in a container. Oasis makes garlands that you can use to still have a water source. For using at the reception, they could either be hung up somewhere or laid along the edge of the head table and cake table.

I've done small long and narrow sprays in the oasis round cages (like 3" across) that the wedding party has taken inside. Maximum length is about 24" otherwise it is too unstable in our winds...they have used them to go across the front of the head table. Also done garlands where we had half a dozen little cages randomly over the garland and a few loose flowers. Cut the zip ties and they have mini 8" round arrangements. Put in a little extra money than you normally do because you have to design so they look good from the front and from above. Takes a little extra work.
