My name is Shandrea O'Brien, I am the owner of The Stem in Invermere, BC, Canada. I opened my shop from the ground up and have loved every minute of it....well, there are always moments 
This area is a popular wedding destination spot, so our summers are crazy here! This year we completed 53 weddings between the months of June and Oct!
We have a large walk in cooler with a vast assortment of flowers, keeping it interesting and lets our clients do the shopping and we do the designing for them! We also carry house plants, Granville Island Soy Candles, a couple of lines of gift cards (local designers, not the Hallmarks) and lots of vases and containers. We feature local artists as well, on our walls.
I graduated from the Floral Design Institute in Seattle, WA as a designer. Now that the business is settling in (almost 4 years now), I am looking to get back into learning and expanding my knowledge. I yearn to do large scale and event design.
