I am working on a big story about phony florist listings in Yahoo Local.

What about previous shops?

Does this include shop(s) that used to be actually located in Springfield, but are not anymore? They still evidently have their phone #'s, but the physical location isn't there. This is true for two listings in my town.

If they have moved, you can sumbit corrections with their new addresses. In the profile screen just below the name of each business, you should see a link labeled "Update this business". Click that, change the address and hit submit.

It usually takes Yahoo a while to make any changes, but at least you've notified them of the new address(es).

Thanks! I was able to identify over 4 bogus addresses. Two of which went to the same phone number of another shop listed. The other two are bogus addresses of a shop that moved to a neighboring town, but still had their phone # forwarding.

I never knew that I could update them! What a help!
