I am curious about our customers' opinions on loyalty programs. I'm posting this poll here, first - next week I'll post for the general FC membership.

Would you prefer to operate an internal loyalty program that only impacts purchases made directly at your shop (phone, online, in person)

OR

participate in a larger, national program (ala Air Miles, or various points programs) that might have more appeal but less relevance to your shop?

In-house programs require you to track everything and create the rewards. National programs allow for a larger scope of reward options but aren't as relevant to floral rewards.

Thoughts? Votes?

We also have implemented the in house rewards through Floristware, but would like to hear more about the other program. If it provides a bigger incentive and is perceived to be a bigger reward, we would certainly consider this kind of program.

Ryan, when you say "national" are you referring to the type of program you have used at Martins to give away *free* air line tix? Or something like only air miles done by an airline?

For *in house* would that be independent, where each store would do their own thing? Currently I do not do any type of rewards program, but I can see where it would be a good marketing tactic locally.
