  • Hi everybody

I've embarked on a new software application for presenting professional looking contract proposals for weddings, parties and events.

While I'm going to keep the current version updated, I've decided that some florists are going to need more space for their contract language and perhaps additional pages for the proposal contents.

I'm also going to make it easier to incorporate your current contract language into EZ Contract Proposal.

If there's a specific need for anybody in here, let me know. I'm very familiar with the wedding and event end, I can't say I know much about the mechanics of running a floral shop.

However, if you can convince me of a genuine need for software that's lacking in the industry, I have no problem with sharing in profits and royalties for an end product.

Hope someone reads this and my apologies for being ignorant about the introductions.

I'm sorry... this whole interface is confusing to me. If I posted this in the wrong place, I didn't intend to.
westar - this intro message you posted here in your profile should be posted in your introductory thread. Maybe copy and paste this message? The membership here asks questions to new potential members, which enables us to vote you into membership.

If you are not a florist, please post what kind of "software" you provide for florists, perhaps your website as well. As a vendor, there are specific terms of use for FlowerChat. You can ask any one of the administrators here what they are.

Hope this helps with some of your questions.

Hello everybody. I think this is my 4th post... not sure, but anyway I wanted everyone to know that though I'm not a florist - my business is related - for some reason florists seem to me to be more likable people than other business people. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't think so.

I know several florists very well and their personalities always seem to be uplifting - not at all condescending.

I met with a florist in Pittsburgh recently (business trip) and temporarily lost my ride home.

He was so gracious and understanding - I just couldn't believe it. He let me use his office and make long distance calls so I could call for my missing ride. And he had never met me prior to that day.

Needless to say, I will treat this client very well and even if he doesn't remain a client, I'll remember him always. He made that big of an impression on me.
