Facebook used to slander local florist in my town

Don't want to hijack but someone brought up a good point about insurance and accepting product. We get frequently asked to deliver customers greeting cards, vases, chocolates, and other gifts. Contacted our insurance agent yesterday and she contacted our underwriter. She got back to me and stated that yes we would be covered because we have a business policy, but didn't state what value. However both of them said that if we choose to accept their product we need to document it on the order. We need to ask the customer what is the approximate value of the item. It is starting to concern me now. These days you never know with people. She asked me if we would be willing to deliver a $20,000 engagement ring, just to get my wheels turning. She said we really should put a limit to what we will do. Just wanted to share and see what other's policies are.. We get people that bring in their own unique vases and want us to arrange flowers in them and then deliver them across town.
