A while ago we ran out of our florist twine, or thread. The small spools of string used to hold a hand-tied bouquets, it comes either waxed, or unwaxed. Apparently the manufacturer has stopped making the small, regular size. They have huge spools available, but it's difficult to hold in your hand. I've searched online under both florist thread, and florist twine, and only find the huge spool of it now.

Does anyone know of a source for this? What does everyone else use on hand-tieds?

zip ties for bouquets with hardy stems.

oasis/Atlantic oasis tape works well too.

We use the clear rubber bands. You can find them in the grocery store hair accessory section. They are perfect for hand ties, work just like a rubber band, but are invisible once the flowers are put in a vase.
