Flowers for Hair?

I have a bride who wants to wear a mini calla in her hair for her wedding. She wants to know if it would look better being on a barrette/hair clip or just loose and bobby-pinned in her hair.

What have you done?

that depends on where in her hair and if its up or down if she has a veil or not.
she should take one over to her hair dresser and let the hair dresser tell her if she wants it on a comb or just pinned.

I think I would work it onto some wire swirls so that I has some stability to bobby pin into hair and add interest.

Fitz has a nice alligator clip to attach it to.

I usually just give them the loose flowers to give to their hairdresser. Hairdresser knows what to do with 'em.

Most times I will wire and tape the blossoms, leave the wire long, and the hairdresser can affix it to whatever he/she thinks is best. I just do flowers, you wouldn't want to see what I would do with hair
