Most aspects of floriculture saw sales peak in 2001, 2002 or 2003, easing back in 2004, then rebounding in 2005, when most aspects of floriculture rose:
* Cut flowers other than orchids: $14.1 million, up 7 percent.
* Lei flowers: $3.7 million, up 9 percent.
* Foliage: $19.4 million, up 10 percent.
* Potted flowering plants: $6.2 million, up 2 percent. A steady increase in potted plant sales is a major reason for the cumulative growth in the sector.
* Landscape plants: $20.8 million, up 8 percent.
* Plant rentals: $4.9 million, up 46 percent.
* Other nursery products: $5.1 million, up 12 percent.
