My name is Karen Bedonie. I am the owner of Oops~A~Daisy Flowers on the Navajo Nation. Our company is quite new and growing quickly. Currently, we operate as a traveling business. We are a Navajo owned florist company and we operate in New Mexico, Arizona and parts of Utah. The Navajo Nation covers roughly around 26000 miles.... yes, 26 thousand miles and I have only found 4 other flower shops who are home based businesses and far from being professionals. Flowers are scarce and longed for in the southwest. I have decided to dedicate myself to delivering smiles and petals across the Navajo Nation. We have no floral associations existent and/or available in the Nation and outside companies find it difficult to become established without Navajo membership, thus I am but one of the very few. I have worked as a florist apprentice in my years and have done many, many pro-bono weddings, proms, parade floats and such. My artistic hands are priceless and many have raved at my eye for color and beauty. I am here to connect with professional florists in hope to broaden my knowledge and skills. I hope to find excellent wholesalers as well. I have saved enough funding to purchase a building and we plan to be up and running by August 2011! I am so happy to have found Flower Chat.
