I'm Stacey, and just starting to look into the floral design field. I have no background in floral design, but just created a bouquet for a photography session that I just shot (I am a professional photographer), and found that I really enjoyed creating and seeing the fruits of labor. Just seeing what is available out there for resources if i wanted to learn floral design on my own. Thanks!

I suppose it depends on your goal. You can teach yourself floral design as a hobby, or you can take some on line instruction. If you want to get employed in a flower shop you should probably go to a design school which would show potential employers that you're serious about the trade. Some people with natural ability pick it up on the job if you find an employer willing to train. There are many optoopns and it all depends on what you hope to accomplish. Good luck!
