several of our customers have expressed GREAT surprise that they've been able to EASILY waltz through the liquor stores, Sears, WalMart, Costco, etc, without the long lineup fanfare that they were expecting!!
Now, as my gut feeling continues express itself, I'm getting the REAL NOTION that consumers are starting to swing AWAY from the "BIG BOX" syndrome,and heading BACK to the small amicable shops that WE all try to operate!!
Though our "net site" hits were HUGE this year, out DIRECT incoming business probably has come close to doubling over last year, with customers using the net for information, only to call,fax, or email us their orders, along with the traditional phone call...with our site at a1florists.com, providing the heaviest hitting!!
The TF site is a dead horse, the FTD site somewhat more productive, BUT, boys and girls, I can feel the trend changing again, and it's time for us to "SHINE"
