The shop that is ahead of us now has a commercial on the radio that says they are nominated, go vote for them, and.....while you are there, enter to win a $75 gift certificate. When you go to vote, there it is right next to the voting area.
I have had someone suggest to me, tell your customers you will give them a certain percentage off if they vote for you and post their name. NO WAY!!! I want people to vote because they want to, not because I am going to give them something. I tell customers when they are here that we have been nominated and if they love our customer service, arrangements, etc., to please vote for us.
This other shop has 3 locations and about 400 employees to my little store with 2. To come in second behind them is fine with me!!! To be nominated in the first place is excellent!!!
