    Did you hire another designer? +15 is better than -,its everywhere.. slow.So much goes on in our girls life's that we as mom's can't fix for them.Other than to help them to be strong.She can't see it now but your baby is growing her wings to be a strong independent young woman.Her x is a stepping stone to what she wants to find in a mate for life.Good does win in the long run. Keep her close and help her thorough her last year. Many first to come.Good luck mom.I'm sorry about your company going belly up.So I take your in limbo as of now?When one door closes another opens.Keep on pushing those flowers.     Shop is holding its own. Up 15% over last year, but brings us to where we aren't losing money....I want MORE! Had a last minute wedding w elderly couple, and it ended up being $750. Need to devote time there. Love to get the taking pictures n emailing, but just haven't had time to implement. The other shop is rolling along with new owners, so not much has changed there. Hoping cooler weather leads to a busy fall.

    Personal life is insane. My daughter and boyfriend of 2 yrs broke up. she is so sad, n yesterday homecoming candidates came out. she didn't make it. I guess being a good kid isn't popular. She is captain of the cheer squad, a good student. The seniors went with the kids who party. most have gotten into trouble for minor in possession of alcohol. So she feels so low.

    Day job is chaos. My company went bankrupt. We were picked up by another company, but don't know if they wanted our assets or to stay in business. It is going to be interesting. Wow, I am a drama girl, huh?

    Her official last day is Aug. 21. I am going to hire her lead designer, but am not sure about her second in command gal. I want to hold off for a month or so because I am not sure how much biz we will get. I am all lined up to go peruse her old stuff to buy what we can, but I don't really know what that will be. We have been really, really slow and I just want to go slow. Plan to talk to her about her phone number and all when I go to buy her stuff. Pray for me. Tough decisions to make, and I just want to get it right. Thanks and you guys have fun!!!

    I'm wrapping up a wedding for Sat. I'm going to be here for some time, until it's done anyway. I still have cor. and bouts for prom to finish too.
    All MD's in cooler, been rocking here, thank God.

    elmo... someone thought you were the one that gave kristine a tip on ribbons for corsages... i'm trying to find the post but can't seem to locate it. will you share the tip with me also... i'm always looking for shortcuts for prom work
