Hi everyone... Been registered for a long time but we have been
very busy with holidays, weddings, etc. to chat.
I am a third generation florist in Illinois. My father started our
business in 1933 and I've been working here since I was in
grade school... we had green houses so I would disbud mums
etc ..That era is now gone as buying flowers in cheaper than trying
to grow them. As manager/owner I wear many hats. We have 3 locations
2 in Illinois and 1 in Iowa.:musical:
The florist industry has changed so much during my 40+ years of
working in the shop. I hope to learn how other Florist are
handling all these changes.
