I was watching Dancing with the Stars last night and Len (the older judge in the middle) made a comment to the effect that he views the first week of the competition as though each contestant is a flower, each coming into full bloom at a different stage. Then he said that the whole group makes a lovely bouquet. Thought that was a pretty cool analogy.
