I personally want to talk to other florist, not necessarily people trying to push their products. They usually don't participate or offer much of value to us.

I disagree to a point. Often there are non-florists that have products or services of value to the community as a whole. Each member may not have a need for every product/service, but if there are any, I think it good that people can come here and find what they need.

As far as participation, Mary Lou (mlou) has helped more people than I can count, Hal and Mark Anderson also, share their knowledge, the folks from John Henry too are an asset among others.

FlowerChat is designed for the industry, not just for florists. We do try to weed out the fakes...and those that do not follow the rules.
