Linking within site during demo site

I just started working on community listings on my site. I listed all of the cities we deliver to, and was starting the process of building pages for each of them. When I linked from my home page listing Albertville to the page Flowers Albertville, MN the link is not live. Is this because it is in demo? Will I need to wait until it's live or am I doing something wrong?

Ah, I see the problem.

When you linked to the page you copied and pasted the "edit mode" URL. Instead, try using the "Add Link To Page" from the editor window.

Always, for internal linking.

Thanks Ryan. I was a linking madwoman last night. I also discovered that I can easily, REALLY EASILY, put a link on every page for home simply by clicking on home in the Add Link to Page. It even puts the word "Home" there for us.

Liking it, liking it a lot.

WAY easier to navigate than the other platform, I don't have to try to remember where everything is.
