Hi, I am newer to the industry. I have been leaning and doing event work for about 4 years. I have completed courses at Floral Design Instiutute and now I do weddigns, events and intern at a local florist. I do have my own business but no store front. My hope is to one day open my own store front and be a real business owner. :) My hope is to learn, learn and learn as much as I can before I take the plung. thank you :)

Smart, to learn first - many just dive right in. You'll find a lot of information here for your decisions.

Thank you Tracy, I was begining to think maybe this wasen't the place for me. I love the thought of being able to talk to actual store owners and learn from all there experience. Before I moved I spent alot of time at Homers Florist (in West Sacramento) with the owner and she was a wonderful lady who was so kind to let me hang around the shop and ask her a million questoins and she even let me do arrangments. I am so exicted to be here. Thank you :)
