Hey everyone! I have a question for y'all about wedding flower colors. As we all know, Mother Nature plays a big part in what shade of a certain color our flowers come in. I try to make it very clear to my brides that we cannot guarantee a perfect color match because of this (its even in our contract) and suggest that they use complementary or contrasting colors instead. We all know that matchy-matchy isn't cute anyway! Most of the time we have no problem at all because our brides understand this completely. However, we recently had an experience with a MOB that flew off the handle because the dark purple carnations in the bridesmaids bouquets were "plum purple" instead of "eggplant purple." I mean, it was major melt down mode. Has anyone out there had problems like this? If so, how did you handle it? I tried to tint with Design Master but it really made no difference. Help!
