For some reason your website was very slow to load on my computer so I wasn't able to get a true feel for your work. However, what I did see was very nice.

Hi, thanks for your interest in our community. I had the same problem as Victoria loading your website (I felt like I was back in the dial up days). You mentioned working from home, is your business registered with the state? Do you collect and pay sales tax? Do you have the proper licensing/permits for your town? Where did you get your training?

Yes, my business is registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia and yes I do collect and pay sales tax (fun!). I am fully licensed to operate a business and have all of the proper insurance policies.
My background is in interior design. I ran my own design business for years. I also was a dry flower designer for several years in the 90's - selling my wreaths through several "crafter" magazines (made the cover twice!).
I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you!

My background is in interior design and I ran my own design company for quite a few years before deciding I preferred working with flowers. I work from my home which is great because of my low overhead but I do hope to have a storefront in the next few years - I'm watching the economy right now!

Thanks for joining. We moved from Alexandria a couple of years ago to New England. We were located of Quaker Lane and Duke. My new studio is further down on Colvin Street. I was just in your area on Friday.
