Update on Arielle's Surgery

Thank you all, your thoughts and prayers mean so much!

Everything technically went well with the surgery that took about 3 hours, the rest will take weeks to know, so don't stop praying. In recovery they gave her Demoral in her IV 10 minutes later I noticed she kept taken deep breaths she said it seemed funny to breath, then I noticed her breaking out in hives on her arm. She is allergic to the pain killer. They gave her a shot of benadryl and all is well. Switched meds to Davvocet. She is home now and sleeping.

More prayers coming. I'm emailing our pastor now to include Arielle on our prayer list. Post-op recovery and rehab sucks, but it can be a real character builder - and from what I've heard, she's a real character already

give Arielle the time she needs, and the attention she deserves!
In cases like this, sometimes the surgery is the LEAST invasive part of one's life......the recovery counts for almost everything!!
Help her pace her recovery, remind her that her impatience to heal more quickly is already built into Arielle's spirit!!
