Yahoo Cleaning House Today?

Was checking to see what happen today because traffic was way down and not to many searches today. Looks like yahoo maybe up to something efecting yahoo alltheweb and altavista results. Its intresting to see the standard links that are avaliable in the index going to our site. It has really given me some ideas. Anyways anyone else see this today?

Eric, there have been quite a few rumblings at Yahoo over the last week or so. At this thread at Webmasterworld, some think it is an update and others disagree.

In the recent past, Yahoo seemed to make 'official' announcements of index changes such as:

Perhaps these rumblings don't amount to an updated index for them... just yet anyway.

It's been awhile since we talked...

I understand that there has been a problem lately with backlinks. Some webmasters are reporting as much as a 30% to 75% drop in traffic. Yahoo finds and loses backlinks too easily.
