Anyone notice the change Yahoo put up yesterday? They have improved their search engine...it even includes an "assisted search" which is kind of cool...

They *claim* it's better than Googles algo and more accurate...check it out..

August numbers...

Google 57% of all searches on the web...
Yahoo 23%
All others 20%

Where did you get those numbers? If I recall correctly, they are much different than a recent report (by comScore, I think). Time to check back through my RSS feeds and find that article...

Update:
Boss is correct - the comScore report covers Query Share and User Share.
For Query share, Google has 56%, Yahoo 23% and Live 11%
For User share, Google has 77%, Yahoo 56% and Live 37%

Analysis of this report showed that Live (MSN) in particular is not returning quality results, so users are searching again on other engines (specifically Google) to find what they need.
