I didn't read all the posts in the thread, but have you checked with transflora? They have a large selection of garden roses.

So I broke down and called the former owner.. I really didn't want to though..
I asked her what rose it was and she said "brown"
(((((((((((sigh))))))))))))
"Well do you remember the name? was it leonidus? Cause leonidus is known as a chocolate rose..." I ask.
"Oh, well I don't know the names of the roses." she says
(((((((((((((sigh))))))))))))))))
She continues "But call blah blah at blah blah, she knows what I mean... I remember it has the word 'moca' in it"
I conclude it's moca magic.

try a rose called Ambiance. I have a wedding show this weekend and I found a rose that is a mocha color. I think it was Ambiance, but the packaging is long gone.
I've tried the Terra Nostra and they coordinate well with browns, but I prefer Terra Cotta, it has a richer look, rather than washed out which is what Leonidis adn Terra Nostra look like to me.

ok. The rose I was talking about is called Amnesia. It is a mocha color. You can tell it was a purple rose which has been altered to be mocha color. Not dyed but altered genetically. The nice part is that it looks nice with creams, browns, etc., but it also looks nice with purple.
