Want the chance to train alongside one of the nation’s most esteemed event designs?
Through the end of the month, FTD is accepting applications for its “Intern with Ian” contest, in which one lucky member will receive a trip to Florida to work with Ian Prosser, AAF, AIFD, PFCI, NDSF.
Prosser, the owner of Botanical International in Tampa, Florida and a member of FTD’s educational team, has been wowing the industry for more than 40 years. His creativity and stunning installations have elevated him to worldwide renown and helped him assemble a client roster that includes Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and Queen Elizabeth. He also orchestrated flowers and decor for the inaugurations of Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
The contest winner will spend a weekend this fall at one of the Sunshine State’s most glamorous venues, working side by side with Prosser as he brings his vision for a high-profile wedding to life and returning home inspired and brimming with insight on how to elevate his or her event business.
FTD will pay for the winner’s travel expenses. The contest is open to all FTD member florists in the United States and Canada.

- Complete the application, including the three short answer questions, and click “Submit Application.”
- Email three photos of your recent wedding and event designs to [email protected].
Photo submissions are due by midnight Pacific Daylight Time on Thursday, August 31.
Contestants should be available between October 19 and 22 to travel to Florida.
