  • Hi! How's it going? will you be attending the next TF meeting? i would love to see you again. It's in April but I don't know the details. Are you doing much floral work now? Freelancing a bit here and there? Hope all is well, Melissa

Hi Marie! Saw your message about my stained glass class. It's a rank beginner's class. We're making about a 12" x 18" panel so far. Has an oval bevel in the middle, then pieces around the oval, then rectangular strips around that.. lead came. Next we will be making a more free form suncatcher with copper foil. I'm LOVING it! I LOVE one of the glasses that I picked for my panel. It's awesome and really arty.. clear wavy glass with shards of mossy green and light yellow melted into it, and long drips of black glass. It's amazing glass. Part of why I like this craft is I'm in LOVE with art glass. I think this is just the beginning of what I might want to try with glass. This shop also teaches fused glass. Goody!

Can you tell I'm excited? LOL I have wanted to learn to do this for 30 or 40 years, and I'm finally doing it. Feels great.

    Thanks for your message, Marie!
