Google refuses to list in Google Local

I have been trying to get our shop listed in Google local for 6 months. Here is a copy of the most recent correspondence with Google. I can not convince Google that when you search for a florist in Google Local, Greenwood, IN, our shop does not appear and we are the oldest shop in Greenwood. Any ideas??

I still do not understand why every flower shop in my local area is listed
except my store. You are not "representing the content of the internet
fairly and accurately" since our shop ,which is one of the longest
established flower shops in Greenwood, IN is not listed and you are
listing
a telephone number(317-865-1035) that is forwarded to a boiler room
operation in New Jersey which is definately not "local" Greenwood, IN

I am also a customer of Google using the Google Adwords program for paid
listings in the Greenwood, IN area. These listing are correctly appearing
when searching for Greenwood, IN florists.

Ken it takes time. I went through the same thing just as long waiting.

Here is something that may make you happy

(SORRY the link didn't work)

try typing Flower Greenwood IN in google local.

believe it or not but this type of search happens more than you think.

I know it seems like everyone elses come up more then yours but as long as you stay on top of things like you are it will keep getting better.

Locate says

I invited Gary for locateaflowershop to look at the thread. He couldn't see it
because it was password protected. Here is what he said to me.

Looking at the source code for the cached page, it appears Google somehow
trashed it. The source code for the actual page looks fine. The source
code for other cached pages of other cities looks fine also.

Gary

Don't have an idea why, but it works in Alabama

Not seeing it fixed here
Cathy, when clicking on the link in your post, the attached is what I see.

David -

To make it clear, I don't believe anyone here is or was implying that Gary's site wasn't kosher - just that Google' cache was weird. Mlou's comment that the Big Daddy update has made caches squirrely is the best explanation.

IMO Gary runs a very clean florist directory.

Glenn -

The top of the cached page looks fine. It's the the highlights on the text and links near the bottom of the page that are odd (out of view of your screen shot).
