I have beed in the industry for 37 years. I have studied in the United States as well as Europe. I am an artist at heart. I consult with other florists as well as wire services. I hope to bring some truth to the misleading info out there about profitability of wire services as well as give design tips. I hope to learn how others think about our industry. I used to own my own florist but retired and now mostly do consultant work.

Is there some reason why it is not o.k. for people to keep their names private? Maybe my fellow Kentuckian has had problems with internet "stalkers". Has happened to me before, maybe it's just a Ky thing????? They didnt seem that rude to me, just didnt want their name out there maybe?

Lady. The name isn't really the issue, just the overall attitude of the applicant. Personally I trust my gut and vote accordingly.
If this person isn't willing to explain in a mannerly fashion why they don't want to "chat" with one of the welcoming people or share their name, then I am suspect of their intent.
