Fourth Generation Florist

Hey everyone,
I am a 4th generation florist, although not my first choice in careers, I'm doing my best to bring ours and everyone else's local business back to the forefront of customers minds. In my 5+ years here I have seen a decrease in local business and an increase in .com wire orders. I'm not sure if FTD and Teleflora forgot that they were started as a way to facilitate local shops sending orders to one another, but it seems to me they have. I look forward to ideas, info.,etc. you all have to offer as I will offer as much as I can.

This is the first time I have ever heard anyone use "horny" and "wire service" in the same sentence. Lots of vivid images being conjured....
