That site locked up by browser (IE 6) and refused to let go. Just to get out, I had to completely shut down IE and close the other 6 windows I had open. Weird.

Cathy, were you using dial up or broadband to connect? The images are very large and would download slowly over dialup and probably cause it to lock up.

I am using Firefox, works fine. The images there are 72 dpi, so it shouldn't take too long to load.

Looking through your code, it might have something to do with the applet you are using from: http://www.anfyteam.com/ but I am not sure. Or maybe Cathy you have low ram and it is because you had 6 other things open.

the page loads a java (.jar) file/class...that is probably what nuked your browser...

Heck, I usually have 10-15 windows open. (Am a natural multi-tasker.)

New DSL line, new computer (3 weeks old) so I believe 12Bucks is correct - too much java. Thanks all.

You can't have too much Java on a new machne.The applet I was talking about at http://www.anfyteam.com is the JAVA applet.

With that said, most computers don't come loaded with the Java applet, go here: http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_xpi.jsp DL the applet and you'll be fine.

As for 15 windows opened... it depends on what programs you have opened... i.e. Photoshop, outlook, DVD software can hog up your RAM. 15 windows open of your folders is almost nuttin. So in other words 3 windows can slow you down more than 15, just depends on the programs you are running.
