Ordered a sampling from Cathy Davenport from Cameo MacGuffin and they arrived today. Very elegant and different. The colors just blow you away and may open a whole new add on for your brides. Thanks for the tip.Sorry I can't remember who is was......but good tip!
Cathy's number is 864-654-6977
website is www.posypockets.com

Love the pew markers too!!!

Sher what is the trick in getting all those stems into the 7 inch pocket? We have tried something like this in the past, but found it not practical, but maybe we were doing ti wrong :) Please help.

I may be looking at something different here - We just go get the styrofoam cones - we get an old wedding dress and take off the already beaded appliques. Cover the cone with the satin, decorate with appliques etc.. we make a hole at the top of the cone and put a regular bouquet holder in it - secure it in -

You can get wedding dresses off of ebay for under $20.00 and the cones are dirt cheap.

Sounds REALLY cool countrypetal :) I still want to know from Sher, how you get all the flower stems in such a small cone. There has a be some type of trick.

:) Thanks Rich!

New Idea for sleeve cover

I came up with an idea this morning - Anyone drink Crystal Lite?

I was throwing away the plastic container ( the small one ) and noticed how it was the perfect size cylinder for a sleeve for a hand help bouquet.

Its a thin enough plastic you could cut the bottom out to run the stems through or slit the side to just clip it on . You could easily cover this thing with satin using some glue, add some beaded appliques from an old wedding dress etc...

I liked Britney spears bouquet when she had a hand held bouquet and the sleeve was covered in rhinestones. Hummmm- will have to try this out.

Posy Pockets

Was cleaning up some photos and wanted to share these. The hanging Posy Pocket was made by Cathy for our daughter's First Communion. The front has a beautiful cross (but can't be seen in this photo.) A medium (the smallest size) Oasis Wedding Belle held the flowers with the pocket sliding up to cover its handle. The holder will be a treasure for a lifetime.
