I would certainly emphasize the heavy fragrance of so many blooms. With so many people being sensitive to fragrance or who have allergies of some sort or another, the day could be spoiled by sneezing, coughing, red eyed, runny nosed guests.
Having received a gardenia plant as a gift I learned quickly that while I'm not allergic, I can't tolerate the heaviness of the fragrance. It hit the patio for the remainder of it's short life.
