I am currently working on a website for Oakwud which has been operating for 12plus years. At first Oakwud was a grower in specialty cut flowers. Having sold my farm two yers ago, I now operate as a flower buyer for both retail and wholesale across the counrty.
My educational backgroun is a BA in Fine Arts and a Graduate degree in Art Education. I stopped teaching over 12 years ago and so my sense for esthetics has taken me on a path with flowers. I am detail oriented with a keen and discerning eye for color, texture and design.

During my years in the flower industry, I have helped florist with wedding tips, galla events and other special events.
If you are looking for something different and can't find it--I will.
One of your members suggested that I join flowerchat several years ago

Hi Sheila,
So, are you a broker? Do you sell to consumers as well as florists? Do you resell wholesale items (auction/wholesale to you, not grown) as well?

Right now I am selling peonies from my growers 10 st.bu @10.00
Have some Korean lilacs @ 7.00 a bu. Spirea, lily of the valley 25st.bu @ $30.00
Light yellopw moonshine yarrow, mock orange, some pussy willows, alliums. Can't fiure out how you would get in touch with me if you need something. Oh, we can mix you boxes as well. Is it safe to post my email and telephone # on this board?
