Really?!?!! Wow, I've put up with orange blotches for decades. Sometimes they won't even come out in the wash, you know, if they've gotten rubbed in really good before you notice them.Chenille stems lift it off nicely if caught in time, but I'm excited to try your tip for all the times the chenille stems won't work. Thanks!
Even regular light will take out lily pollen stains. Just don't rub it at all, or try normal methods of cleaning. Chenille or sticky tape will take off a lot of it, but then leave the garment in light. I find that if I have lily pollen on my apron, that by the end of the day it's gone.
We use the chenille pipe cleaners to clean lily pollen off the petals, as well, when we missed getting the anthers (or is it stamens?) before they mature. We've also noticed that lilies last longer if the pollen is removed. This goes for amaryllis, too.

I think Lily growers everywhere are missing a great advertising opportunity. Lilies....The only flower guaranteed to get your pants off!!
I can see the commercial now - Guy shows up at his girlfriends door with a bouquet of lilies and his pants are in the yard. He says" darling I bought you these beatiful lilies but got a little pollen on my pants. My local florist said if that should happen to just toss them in the yard to dry." She hugs and kisses him, and waalaa she gets pollen on her shirt! lol
Sorry I couldn't resist, It's my first almost day off in weeks. I think my husband deserves some lilies!
