I have Teleflora processing my CC. The cost is about 3%. Did anybody try to use another CC processing service, while still having Teleflora WS and website?

We have TF & TF website and we use Chase Merchantech. When we receive an eFlorist order we just have to go to the cc machine and process manually.

I don't have a lot of info yet, but Visa called yesterday, stating that they just opened up a new processing location in Lansing MI and stated a rate of 1.28 or something like that, and that they clear all card types...
I told them to call back after Mothers Day...

Has anyone heard of pass-thru credit card processing? Had a company contact me today and said they would only charge me the up front fees and not charge the back end fees. I'm not sure what a front or a back end fee is, but it sounds way too good.

Have not heard of it for CC's...
But my bank now has technology that I can run checks through and the money is deposited into my account without me going to the bank, and I keep the customers check.
after i quit teleflora, I used my bank (horizon) to process credit cards. Their rate was cheaper and the money was in my account the next business day - not three days later. last year i switched to heartland, their fee structure was better for visa and mastercard. American express and discover are slower and more. plus they've had some security breach issues. I havn't had any problems.
