Please remember us in prayer. It has been quite difficult for several months. My mom, who helped me open the shop and worked with me for many years, suffered a near fatal heart attack in October. On Jan. 2, one of my very close friends died from a brain tumor. On Jan. 6, my longtime employee/friend died with her husband in a house fire. On that same morning, a cousin was killed in an auto accident. My husband's nephew died Jan. 27 after a long battle with lung cancer. Just after Valentine's Day, my dad, after 10 months of being shuttled from doctor to doctor, was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer, and he has been given about a year to live. Because I am the daughter who lives closest to them, and because I do not dissolve into hysterics, I have been taking Dad to his 2-4-times-a-week dr. appointments.

So that more time will be available for this, I have resigned as president of our local florist association. I am trying to remain on the state board for now because the convention will be in my area this year.

God has blessed me greatly with increased business at the shop, and with good employees. My absences from the shop do put a stain on things at times.

Please help me pray about all of this.

oh my God Connie......

what on earth did your family do to deserve this??
It would be almost impossible to fathom what you've gone through....
Our prayers, our hope, our wishes for you, and your family.....

How much can a person take? Someone told me that God give you what he think you can take. Than I wonder in this case if he overstep his boundaries.

Lord, I lift Connie and her family to you, I ask you to comfort her, give her strenght to deal with everything that is surrounding her. THank you Lord for everything you have done for her at this time. In jesus name....

Love and prayers Connie... take care of you.

Oh Connie - of course we will certainly be praying for you and for emotional strength to continue to get through it all. The Flowerchat community is such a wonderful place to come not only for our floral discussions and questions but for personal support for any need.

Lord, please give Connie the comfort she needs in dealing with all this loss and help her to trust and look to You more and more. And they all said, "Amen".

Connie, the prayer circle of the flowerchat group is all wrapped around you in love and support. Our prayers will lift some of the burden of worry from your shoulders and let you concentrate on those that love and need you. Breathe deeply and feel the lightness of your worry lifted. We are all here for you,
Sher

Like someone said.......

we wonder why everything seems to attack one family like this. My best prayers and wishes are headed your way. Your strength must show at times like these. Strong wishes from New Brunswick.

Please add another request that I somehow forgot to list. The first week in February, my stepdaughter (about 10 years younger than I) was diagnosed with cervical cancer.

Thank you more than words can express for all of your words of support and prayers. I shall read them everyday. From these shall come my strength. God bless you, My Friends.

You know you are always in our family's prayers.
Thanks, David. I depend on that.

Dad had to admitted to the hospital yesterday. He is very, very weak, and the blood work showed a serious problem with his kidneys.
