I am not sure if I am posting this in the right forum but here is my question.

Okay, so we are able to edit our posts. My question is how? I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to edit one of my posts but I just can not figure it out.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

After you have posted you'll notice an edit button at the bottom of your post. Click on that and edit to your heart's content. :) After you're done, hit the save button... and voila, you have edited yourself.

I was looking for an edit button. I am trying to edit my post under the design forum for my ribbons post.
I do not have an edit button for that post. I do however have one for this thread but not the other.

On other forums that are of the same web site design as this that I am a member of the edit button is always there on my posts in the lower right corner when I am logged in and go to what I posted so thats why I can not figure out how I would go about editing the ribbon post when there is no edit button to be found!!
Help! I REALLY want to edit something there

The time limit to edit a post is one day. This was set to allow those who routinely insert foot in mouth (Hi, JB!!) to correct their messages, while preventing someone from changing a post made some time ago, since that change would alter the integrity of the thread.

Hope this helps!

Ryan

PS - As Cathy said, if you have a reason to edit a post after the 1 day limit, please contact an Admin or the forum moderator.
