We need to start planning a FNO in the PHILA/NJ area!! Is this FNO #4??

Perhaps some feedback here - would we rather visit a shop and then go out nearby or go to a more easy to get to major city, like Atlantic City, Phila??

I would even be ok with somewhere more out in the country or resort but fun to visit and stay over.. like New Hope, PA - Cape May, NJ - etc.

Let me know what everyone would prefer.

Maybe some try to stay over and hang a bit longer than just dinner? I love comedy clubs, piano bars, stuff like that...

I think we're due to go west or North - out to Philly? Herb? Adam?

Personally, I like to visit a shop, then chow.

We really need to be merciful with Heather...the poor girl is starving and drunk!

I believe only Tracy and I have attended all 6 FNO's! Go figure...perfect attendance! Oh! Mikey, too! Only because Tracy's husband will not pass up the opportunity to cuddle with me!

Doesn't matter to me where we have the meeting, but I think it's time to hit the Philly scene. It would be nice if Adam (who continually dreams up excuses not to attend) and Herb (who promoises, promises to attend, but remains elusive) to help set up a fun night out. Heather-would you PM them and make them aware of their responsibilities? It will help take your mind off food and booze.

Ivy, babe...I vote NO to Pittsburgh! You are more than welcome to join us here and you can certainly stay at my home-if you dare! I have plenty of room to keep the party going after hours and would welcome guests...not Luc! LOL!

Let's try to get this event scheduled for August or early September. I would love to see you all again. It will be sad not to have Brent with me. He really enjoyed our nights out. It's all good...I am doing better. I even went out on three dates this month. That's a topic for the next FNO!

Personal note for Heather:

Do not listen to Tracy...she doesn't want you looking too hot! I know how she is! Absolutely no cupcakes! You may have one piece of chocolate each evening. I buy the wrapped Ghiardelli sqaures (50 calories) and indulge in one piece nightly. I can make that one piece last forever...savoring every morsel as it slowly melts in my mouth! LOL! I could be a great porn star!

Hey! I'm not the one who started her day talking about eating her arm. Fault me for perhaps for enabling her a little. We all need an enabler some time. That way it's not really our own fault :tongue

I am kinda up for a road trip .... that would be so fun! As long as Dianne wears her jammies, and maybe Heather doesn't lol .

Alright! Alright! I'm up for a road trip! I could use a real get away from it all, to be perfectly honest! A change of scenery might just be good for me! Look out Pittsburgh!

We need some "new blood" in our group and I can't think of two better candidates to include in the FNO'ers than Ivy & Cheryl! OK...ball is in your court now. What do you have in mind for us and when? Just one request...make sure we go somewhere where there are lots of eligible, rich men! I don't really care about the city...just the men!

How far do you guys want to drive?

It's about 6 hours on the Pike from Pgh to Philly.....
Not sure where/ how far you are into NJ Tracey & Di.

Would the greasy spoon just off the Turnpike somewhere in the middle of the now-where woods work for you?

and Di, you best bring jammies! :) We have bears & critters in them there mountains!

yahoo shows pgh is 6 hrs from me ..... I'm game, just need to iron out the day(s).

Mid week any possibility, or should we aim for a non or light wedding weekend?

Mid-week is always a possibility....better than a Fri-Sat. There are a couple of Wednesday that I have stuff to do....so give me a date, and I can check & see.
Sunday is also a possibility!

forgot to mention that our new Rivers Casino is opening (FINALLY!!) on august 9th. Anyone up for a little gambling?

They are saying to expect very heavy crowds the first couple of weeks at the casino.

Ivy is located near the Meadowlands Casino & racetrack. It's been open for a while. We could also go & visit there, if you like. :)

It would be great to see you guys, if you are serious!

It would also be nice to meet you part-way, if that is better. (Somerset or Bedford, Pa sounds like it would be about half way for each of us.)
there are outlet shops in Somerset. :)
