I worked with a designer that insisted on using cling to attach the ribbon wrap to the stems of a bridal bouquet, she used so much it was squishing out the the ribbon and was the biggest mess, it got all over everything. Never could talk her out of it, I just insisted on doing the wrap myself with a small dab of glue and pins.

I've never been able to talk anyone here into the cymbid stems, they're just too expensive for us.

"CLING" does still even today..........have it's place in our floral arsenal.

I use it to secure a votive candleholder onto the plastic foam pins.....which lets me place votive candle cups directly in a design........I use it to secure floral material onto glass.......I use it to help stabllize styrofoam in a narrow neck vase for permanent botanicals.

Yes, CLING can be messy, Yes, CLING is an old material, but CLING still has it's place in our arsenal.
