I guess I missed the fun why did he get the boot? I see he has many red dots. When I came on board about a year ago he was liked.. So can I have a little in site?

The website should be remembered as one of those "even a bad example is still an example". I think all it lacks is background music and a few more animated gifs.

It was what I call hideous web design. I think it possibly was built on some blogging software. It's without a doubt one of THE most hideious floral sites I've ever seen. This guy also claimed to be some kind of master programmer. He should have been into fishing cuz all I ever saw was a Master Baiter.

One person here that I know of felt grateful to him for giving her advice. His advice was to give up and close down her business. This was something he knew a lot about, so I guess it came from a position of experience.

You forgot to mention the "directory" that he was going to make for the "good" of all of us using his superb "seo skills". This was in direct conflict to what Infinite was doing at the time and was like a slap in the face to Ryans efforts....Mark was and continues to be an ass ..... we should be grateful he is gone...I cannot imagine him doing diddlysquat for the benefit of anyone but himself.Let's put him in the dark closet where he belongs ....

It's a sad example that florists cannot succeed when powered by anger.

Lashing out at the world about its 'unfairness' is basically pointless - draining time, energy and focus to tackle the real issues that can help one succeed. (I'm not saying we are powerless, just that focusing energy on issues where we have a chance to gain traction makes the most of limited resources.)

I don't doubt he wanted to build a directory, but a project like his would need the help of other florists who were invested (money-wise or time-wise) in it. He alienated so many here that his pool of helpers was non-existent.

His attempt to recruit florists from FC to go over to his own start-up forum was his last, crass act here.

And yes, his site still has some of my images on it. :(

Bless your heart Dee Dee... you don't sound dumb. This guy is part of the colourful history of Flowerchat. He was/is a thief, antagonisitic, and an all round not nice person. He's gone and every now and again, Jon, :headbang: (Bloomz), likes to remind us of our past. :)

No one wants to buy the website (I hope not!), it's that butt ugly.

He was the definition of jerk. For some reason, he delighted in antagonizing Bloomz, who was very nice to and patient with him for quite a while, then began giving tit for tat. We all tried to be nice to Mark, and he was like a snake in the grass, striking out at almost all of us at one time or another.

When Cathy complained that he had stolen some of her shop's images, he told her, right here on FC so that we could all read it, that she should be honored that he chose her images to place on his website.

He was a real piece of work. Be glad you never knew him.

I feel like a real regular here cuz I've been here long enough to know who this guy was.
I think we all tried to be supportive of him at least for awhile, but then came the little songs and videos he would post of himself onstage.
I dunno, maybe narcissitic personality disorder?
