i, too, am looking forward to attending this year's ontario conference. its been a few years since i had the privledge of drinking ice wine with mikey & company.
we have cleared our last hurdle in effectively bringing rio roses into canada. we look forward to having our product on display at your annual event.

Ontario conference

I have submitted a proposal and all my credantials to the appropriate people. I hope to have the chance to bring my programme to the attendees of the show as I have done most recently in New Hampshire and London (England).

It's now official...

attendance registrations for OFC 2004, have now surpassed our highest numbers on record, so, this year's event WILL BE attended by MORE florists, and MORE trade suppliers than any time in the past.
Also, FTD is to be congratulated (actually Frank Stornelli), for all the excitement,and his Canadian Staff are to be congratulated in spreading word of OFC 2004, along with several prominent suppliers, and coverage through Canadian Florist Magazine.
FTD's printed directory included a large front cover spread on OFC 2004, along with registration forms.
For those of you that have not yet registered, and intend to, please get them in sooner than later...ICE WINE doesn't grow on trees you know!!:blowkiss:

I'm hoping to meet LOTS of our US FlowerChat people crossing the border for some good ole Canadian fun at 50 cents on the dollar :> (Boss - that means YOU!!)

OFC 2004 attendance numbers....

have jumped again....this thing is growing like wildfire!!

Is there any info on the agenda? or just a vague idea of times for dinner ect.? I asked in earlier posts and no reponse. I am already signed up, but would like more info! Thanks.

As soon as the agenda is completed (as far as I know) it will be made available and should be sent to all registrants with confirmation and hotel details etc.
 
Okay, I don't get to post very much on this board but reading through who iis going to the OFC is making me really glad we registered. Shirley and I are really looking forward to this event. It is always great to see everyone and meet new friends. Gudrun
 
Update Please???

Ya know friends, this Tread was started on May 23, 2004 and Today is Sept 13, 2004. Are those confirmations out yet? We thought we could book the same room for Friday nite but without anything to reference it by..??? Were in a holding pattern.
Regardless, were going but Char and I would hate to have to sleep in the casino on Friday nite. LOL!
 
I know for a fact that there will be many people there arriving on Friday. I am sure Mikey and Sandie will be there with her crew working. SO might as well book friday off and get a room and have more fun....Oh what the hell, might as well book thursday also, off....

Akiko will be out of open heart surgery only 6 weeks! Before we make that trip it would be nice to have confirmation of our registration and an agenda. Clark
 
ALL attendees of OFC 2004....

will be recieving personal phone calls from FTD regarding confirmations of attendance to OFC 2004, and the moment that the Sheraton Fallsview releases all the confirmation numbers for attendees, the OFC packages will be mailed out well in advance of the conference.
I think part of the delay has to do with the unexpected turnout, and it appears that extra rooms had to be added, and guaranteed by FTD, PLUS, some minor last minute changes had to be made to the program booklet, and itinerary....it's looking better, and better all the time....

Yes Mikey I received a phone call from Ftd in regards to booking the room for Friday nite. Everything was taken care of so I will see you all in October.

IF you HAVE NOT recieved a followup call from one of the fine folks at FTD, CONFIRMING your registrations.
ALSO, please let us know of anyone attending with special needs or situations requiring extra special care.
