There is no funeral service, Brent's request. There will be a very private memorial service for family and a few close friends...not scheduled yet. Brent's last name is Christensen.

I just read through the messages with my daughter, Jess. She has been here with me for the past few days. She thinks FC is quite a site and is most intrigued by the casino cash everyone has and the groans!

Thank you for your messages, e-mails, PM's & phone calls. Your expressions of love and sympathy have provided me a great measure of comfort and peace.

I am so sorry, I have not been on much to keep up....and although several days have passed I too express my deepest sympathies to you and also say to you obviously you made that gentle man very happy to his last moment....you can have so much peace from knowing that...hugssss hun and prayers

Shocking news twice this week: once when my Aunt called to tell me Uncle had passed (went to funeral yesterday) and then again when I read your post. I'm so sorry, Dianne. Fall into the arms of your friends and family, whenever the need strikes you. Thoughts and prayers for both you and Brent....XO

Oh, also Dianne. My aunt told me about a book she's reading called "90 Minutes to Heaven" - a true story of Don Piper....

"As he is driving home from a minister''s conference, Baptist minister Don Piper collides with a semi-truck that crosses into his lane. He is pronounced dead at the scene. For the next 90 minutes, Piper experiences heaven where he is greeted by those who had influenced him spiritually. He hears beautiful music and feels true peace. Back on earth, a passing minister who had also been at the conference is led to pray for Don even though he knows the man is dead. Piper miraculously comes back to life and the bliss of heaven is replaced by a long and painful recovery. For years Piper kept his heavenly experience to himself. Finally, however, friends and family convinced him to share his remarkable story."

I don't know about you, but when my parents passed I HAD to read, read, read....the inspirational ones were the best.

Dianne, I am so sorry to hear of Brent's passing. I hope your fond memories bring you comfort in the days to come.

Audra

Warmest Regards.

Dianne, I was shocked to hear about this when I went to work and Tracy told me. My Thoughts and Prayers are with you . I am glad you had the coverage at the shop so you could spend the time at the hospital with Brent during his tough time. You are in my thoughts.
