Sweet young girl, black and white wedding wanted only white flowers - white roses with "something" and collars of baby's breath. Here's what I did. Wow, where did that green tint come from??? Must be the picture resizer or something. But they were pure white - Escimos

Here is the bouquet for today's Quincerana for a local business (Mexican store...they make the best corn tortillas) that found me through the Chamber of Commerce. I reciprocated after they came in for the bouquet. (I love my Chamber!)

Let's keep this thread going. What did you do this week?

I wanted to share these because at the bride's request, I will not be blogging about this one. Her bouquet was so cool that I had to share. The bride was in her 40's-50's, grew up in Panama (hence the tropical flowers) and was spunky! Love her! This was the first cascade of the year.

Wedding was a carnivale theme.

I did a baby breath wedding today.
It was a baby breath bouquet with birch twigs.
The centers were birch bark wrapped around vases with clouds of
baby breath and twigs.

When the bride told me this was what she wanted...I kinda gagged a bit...
then really got into it. It was woodsy and edgy. I liked it.
I set it up in my shop for the day before and everybody dug it.

Dore, do you have any pictures? I'd love to see. I've always wanted to do a BB bouquet, but haven't had any takers yet.

Here's the best pic I could find of the wrap. It's done with 1 1/2" soft satin ribbon, twisted in the front 2x and then back around.

Beautiful everyone!!!! WOW!!! You are all so talented!!!

No weddings the past few weekends, but here are the arrangments we did for a Macy's Sip and Scan Event for Brides/Grooms.

I call it our Summer Salsa Collection... I loved the yellow dyed orchids and that was the basis for these arrangments. It consisted of a tall wow, bridal boquet, centerpiece for a table and a arrangment that could be used by the guest book.

Jona and I had fun putting these together..... she did the talls and I did the bouquet and the centerpiece.
